Palm Coast area is going to receive additional health care. The St.Augustine's Flagler Health is proposing to build a new medical health facility in Palm Coast. The Health Village, as it called, will include a variety of medical services. It will create some 70 or more direct jobs and is expected to open sometime in 2021.

The Grand Landing subdivision is approved for 890 new single family homes in the City of Palm Coast.

On top of new businesses and all the new homes with new families moving to the Palm Coast City area this usually means more children. To stay ahead of the increase in population, the city plans to improve their sport complex. The Indian Trails Sport Complex currently has two multi-use fields that house soccer, lacrosse, flag football, baseball and softball. Coty officials say the complex generates $6.8 million in sales tax dollar annually. This is from state and national tournaments that bring in out-of town athletes. The little league alone has more than 1000 kids registered for baseball and softball programs.

A few of years back Palm Coast's northern Interchange to I-95 was completed. Not only did it give the northeastern and northwestern portions of Palm Coast access to each other, it give them the ability to use I-95 and avoid local street daily traffic. Because of this, the northern area above Matanzas Woods Parkway would experience tremendous growth.

There is another 55+ community that is getting a start which will be in the southern portion of Palm Coast in the "P" Section off Pine Grove Drive. This community intends to offer 123 patio home-sites.
